I’ve been teaching students around the world over Zoom for more than a decade While online lessons are not the same as in-person, there are many advantages, and many students who live close-by actually prefer virtual lessons.

Lessons are available online and in-person at my Home Studio in Phoenix, AZ.

I have been teaching group and private Acting Lessons for over a decade. In recent years, my Studio has become more selective, tailoring instruction to match students who plan on pursuing Acting for the rest of their lives, either as a career or as a hobby. 

I’ve worked with actors and singers of all ages for many years and I currently direct plays and musicals throughout the valley along with regularly coaching actors and singers privately. I’ve been featured on MTV and worked in a variety of live theater and Film & TV projects.

Recently I was a Quarter-Finalist for the Grammy Award for Educator of the Year. I work with both beginners and professionals. My students perform in a variety of stage and film projects, and I have several students who’ve recently been cast in web series, television projects, student films, and feature films.

In my studio we focus on:

  • Core Vocal Technique: Breath Support, Projection, Intonation, Tone, Style
  • Posture, Facial Expression, and Physical Gesture
  • Character Development and Story Analysis
  • Repertoire: Learning lots of Quality Performance Pieces, Monologues, etc.
  • Audition/Performance Skills: Applying the Above in the Real World
  • Cold Reading, Memorization, Slating, Self-Tapes

Students vary in age and ability level, but are unified in their love of acting, desire to improve, and commitment to a lifetime of active participation in theater. Students of all ages and experience levels are welcome in my studio.

I have a deep passion for mentoring those who seek to make acting their career, either as performers or educators. My goal is for every student that works for me to achieve their dreams with performance, landing the roles they desire, nailing their auditions, becoming more passionate, expressive, and effective performers over time, and building a career in the arts if that’s the path they choose. The first lesson is a chance for us to get to know each other, go over studio policies, and assess if my studio is the best place for you to achieve your goals. The first lesson is offered for free so you can decide if I’m the right teacher for you and so I can decide if I’d like to invite you into my studio.
